The music in this presentation, performed by singer and hammered dulcimer player Phil Passen, reflects the story of Illinois, which has been shaped not only by its' land and natural feaures - the prairies, lakes, and rivers - but also by the many cultures that have flourished her: those of Native Americans, French, Germans, African Americans, Latin Americans, and numerous others.  This program is funded by a grant from the Illinois Humanities Council.  Illinois Humanities is suppported in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the Illinois General Assembly (through the Illinois Arts, a state agency), as well as by contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporations. Please sign-up.  815-538-5142
